Welcome to a brand new grain-free weekly meal plan!
I am sitting on a deck at the Innisbrook Resort in Palm Harbor Florida following a Nutrition Response Testing(sm) symposium. I enjoyed a busy weekend of learning from my peers all about how our field has the answers to pretty much every health issue known to man. It’s incredible how with time and patience we are able to get to the bottom of so many complex health problems!
One thing that really became clear was that most people are WAY too impatient when it comes to their health. They have been so indoctrinated on the idea of a “quick fix” that they are unable to fathom that it may take six months, one year, two years, or more to actually FIX the underlying cause of their health issue. If they are not willing to confront that fact and be patient, they might as well not even start a program with a Nutrition Response Testing(sm) practitioner.
Another thing that became even more clear than before was that people who are promoting nutraceutical vitamins are causing a big problem for the natural health industry. They promote their vitamins as cures, which is a violation of FDA regulations that is causing this government agency to crack down on anyone and everyone who promotes natural health. They also don’t pay any attention to diet, and advocate meal replacement shakes full of soy and sugar as the key to health.
This is not real, sustainable health. They claim their products are backed by science when the only studies being cited were paid for by their companies. The ONLY “cure” for disease is changing the diet, (namely getting out the sugar and carbs) and healing the body at a cellular level. This can’t be done with a synthetic vitamin. Is this a good start on a journey to real health? Maybe, if it begins to raise awareness to the need for diet changes and good nutrition. It needs to be advertised for what it really is…a band-aid.
I will be writing much more on this topic over the next year because there is so much more coming to light.
