A few weeks ago I saw a beautifully appetizing photo of homemade marshmallows pop up on my news feed. It was from one of my favorite bloggers, Mommypotamus! It was around Easter and I was looking for a good alternative to Peeps.

I often wonder about those photos that seem so perfect on Pinterest or Facebook! Can I duplicate something that looks so amazing? I had all of the ingredients on hand so I thought I would give it a try and see what happened!

Clicking through the recipe, I noticed that it originally came from The Urban PoserGotta love such a great collaboration!

While I can’t take credit for this marshmallow recipe, I did make them and they turned out great! I really love it when a recipe turns out! I used natural orange food coloring to color unsweetened coconut flakes. Next time I am going to try it with marshmallow root!
