We had our first beach day this past week!

That means summer is almost here! Weekly visits to the shore are something we look forward to all winter long. It’s good for the soul!

I joined a CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) this year and I am very excited to get farm fresh, organic produce all summer long. CSAs are a great way to support your local farmers and put your money where your mouth is. If you are local to South Jersey, there are still a few shares left in one of the CSAs I joined. I would be happy to give you information. 

People think that eating grain-free/paleo means all you eat is meat. That’s actually not true. We eat more vegetables than anything else. The more vegetables you eat, the less water you need to drink, the more enzymes the body will have, and the body will be nourished. 

Eating well is not about deprivation. It’s not about eating the same foods every single day. It’s about learning to nourish your body with amazing foods so that you don’t miss the carbs and sugars of the past. It takes a little time to get used to, but it’s worth the effort!

Monday

Breakfast – The Laziest Green Smoothie Ever (I leave out the banana)

Lunch – AIP Venezuelan Reina Pepiada (chicken avocado salad)

Dinner – Bacon Burger Stuffed Portobellos

Tuesday

Breakfast – Roasted Poblano, Sausage and Sweet Potato Hash

Lunch – Clean Green Soup

Dinner – Garlic & Herb Crusted Eye of Round Roast With Orange Chimichurri Sauce

Wednesday

Breakfast – Corned Beef Hash

Lunch – Balsamic Ginger Steak Salad

Dinner – Lazy Stuffed Cabbage Rolls

Thursday

Breakfast – Vanilla-Maple Chia Pudding (I either leave the maple syrup out completely and add a little stevia, or just add a few drops of syrup)

Lunch – Asian Chicken Salad with Sesame Ginger Dressing

Dinner – Mexican Spice Shredded Beef

Friday

Breakfast – Paleo Slow Cooker N’Oatmeal

Lunch – Lemongrass Turkey and Sweet Potato Salad

Dinner – Paleo Sweet and Smokey Salmon

Saturday

Breakfast – Persian Watercress, Chicken, and Bacon Salad (Yes, I love salad for breakfast!)

Lunch – Simple Taco Salad

Dinner – Paleo Pizza on Portobello Caps
